The Portland, Ore.-based band Ojos Feos performs at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., during the June Art Walk artist reception, featuring watercolor artist Todd Fischer. Ojos Feos is a musical group that describes itself as Afro-Latin Blues with a social conscience, playing original compositions and blends minor blues and flamenco progressions with Afro-Latin rhythms and jazz chords. Fischer’s whimsical, surf-inspired watercolors will be on display at the Sequim Library between June 5-Aug. 31. Based on the Olympic Peninsula, Fischer has carved his artistic niche in the world of cartoons, cars and caricatures. Limited library services also will be available during the reception. The program is made free to the public with support from the Friends of Sequim Library.
