Quartet Makes a Comeback

In 2004, four members of the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra formed the Port Angeles String Quartet (PASQ) and performed nearly a dozen concerts in the next year and a half.

Then all four went their separate ways as each member pursued new career paths and interests. Now, they are back for an eagerly anticipated encore performance on Jan. 4 as part of Peninsula College’s Maier Hall Concert Series.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. PASQ’s members include, from left, Heather Montgomery, viola; Fred Thompson, cello; Kate Dean, violin; and Christopher Taber, violin.

Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults and $5 for students. They may be purchased online at www.pencol.edu/cultural-events.
