Radio forum to explore dealing with loss of life partner

Nurse Lorraine Wall will talk about share some of her experiences as well as conversations she has had with others trying to deal with the loss of a life partner at the next WOW! Working on Wellness Radio Forum, set for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, on KSQM 91.5 FM.

Wall, a nurse for the last 45 years who spent her last 12 working years as Chief Nursing Officer at Olympic Medical Center before retiring in 2019, will present “Embracing the Future – Finding Strength and Hope After Losing Your Life Partner.”

Wall said she is passionate about end-of-life planning and having a frank discussion with loved ones, and that she has experienced both good and bad outcomes with her own parents as it relates to this subject. She has lived in Sequim for almost 32 years and values her time spent volunteering at the Sequim Free Clinic.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. The work is supported by more than 70 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
