Radio forum to spotlight Medicare tips

James Castell of Castell Insurance will present “What You Need to Know About Medicare,” a WOW! Working on Wellness Radio Forum, from 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, on KSQM 91.5 FM.

Castell has been part of the insurance industry in Sequim for nearly 15 years. He’s a second-generation agent who has helped grow his family agency into a vital community resource when it comes to Medicare and health insurance. At this forum, he will discuss and explain the newest changes and additions to these programs for the upcoming 2024 fall enrollment period.

Named “Best of Clallam County” for three years running, company employees say take great pride in providing relatable advice and always doing what’s best for the customer, not the insurance companies. They’ve helped thousands of Clallam County residents navigate the ever-changing landscapes of Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, the Affordable Care Act, and home and auto insurance.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. The clinic’s work is supported by more than seventy volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers, and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.

The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on Mondays and Thursdays beginning at 5 p.m. Individuals interested in supporting the clinic may call 360-582-0218.
