Olympic Theatre Arts hosts four performances of the ballet “Cinderella,” presented by Sequim Ballet, with the first two performances at 2 p.m and 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.

The same schedule will be repeated on Saturday, March 5.

All proceeds from the event are donated to Olympic Theatre Arts to continue its efforts in supporting performing arts for children on the Olympic Peninsula.

Sequim Ballet has been operating on the peninsula since 2010 under the direction of choreographer and ballet mistress Laurel Herrera.

One of her past students, Cami Ortloff — who was on the OTA stage for last year’s presentation, “Magic Slippers” — recently was accepted into the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive program for 2016.

Starring on stage for this performance will be Eleanor Byrne as Cinderella and her brother Liam Byrne as Prince Charming.

“As a group we are all inspired by the music and storyline of this ballet,” Herrera said. “The dancers have worked very hard to bring ‘Cinderella’ to the stage. The audiences will find the ballet to be filled with humor, beauty and magic.”

All performances are on the Olympic Theatre Arts Center Main Stage, 414 N. Sequim Ave.

Tickets are $10 each, general admission, and may be purchased at the door or at www.olympictheatrearts.org online.

The OTA box office also is open from 1-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
