Sequim’s Mary Beth Beuke sees ‘Utlimate Guide’ get fourth printing

Sequim artist Mary Beth Beuke’s definitive sea glass guide keeps growing in popularity.

“The Ultimate Guide to Sea Glass” is into its fourth publication, West Coast Sea Glass announced last week. The hardcover volume details stories, beach journeys and hundreds of sea glass rarities.

In the book, Beuke provides information that helps first-time seekers start new collections and helps veteran hunters learn more about their current sets. She shares her experiences in gathering her own collection via photographs of vibrant, rare pieces as well.

Beuke’s sea glass art jewelry can be found in more than 50 galleries all over the world. Her story and collection have been featured on the Travel Channel and in National Geographic, Smithsonian, Coastal Living, Ocean Home, the Seattle Times and other publications. She exhibits her collection at museums and libraries often and resides in Sequim.

The author will be available to take orders for signed books on Dec. 2 at Sequim’s First Friday Artwalk at That Takes The Cake, and from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the West Coast Sea Glass Holiday Open House at 1192 Three Crabs Road.
