Artistic photographer and Sequim resident Charlotte Watts recently was awarded the juror’s award at the PhotoPlace Gallery, lauded as one of the premier photographic galleries in the Northeast.

Located in Middlebury, Vt., the gallery also selected Watts’ photograph, “Where the Animals Go … Through the Aspen Along Lundy Creek” for the banner promoting the show. The exhibit was dubbed “In Celebration of Trees” and was adjudicated by Tom Zetterstrom.

“It was an honor to be included among so many excellent artists and very exciting to know that my photograph was chosen for the banner welcoming patrons to the exhibit,” Watts said.
