Silver lining for those winter blues

Art walk enlivens Sequim streets

January’s theme color of silver matches the frosty air for Sequim’s First Friday Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 4.

Galleries and businesses display art, host receptions and provide live music for walkers, who are invited to don a touch of silver for the occasion.

Added to the art offerings is a sleuth-it-yourself mystery with a trip to Victoria, British Columbia, as a prize, courtesy the downtown merchants’ live game of detection from 5-7 p.m. (See story in Business, Section A.)

For a map of art walk venues, visit www.sequimartwalk.com. The art walk is sponsored and produced by unique as you/Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond.
