The May 30 “Stars of Tomorrow” benefit concert brought out some of the top young music talent across the Olympic Peninsula and also raised funds for the uncompensated care of children at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The concert was organized and sponsored by the Sequim Guild (The Sequim Guild is part of the Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild Association).

During the concert eight area youth musicians performed for the crowd at Sequim Community Church (Kate Powers, Josh Gershon, Tirzah Small, Lum Fu, Paige Lamar, Logan Lamar, Claire Lamar and Ethan Powers).

Sets ranged from classical to jazz to Texas swing played on violin, piano, flute, fiddle and guitar. Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild Association is the largest all-volunteer fundraising network for any hospital in the nation.

Last year alone, Children’s provided more than $1.7 million in uncompensated care for Clallam County children. For more information, see www.sequimguild.org.
