Starting Wednesday, Sept. 18, weekly story time programs resume at the Sequim Branch of the North Olympic Library System.
Toddler story time at 10 a.m. is recommended for children 0-3 years of age. The preschool session at 11 a.m. is recommended for children ages 3-5 years.
Library story times, Barnes said, create critically important early literacy opportunities for young children and their parents or caregivers, Toddler and preschool story times feature age-appropriate books, rhymes, and songs, often with a simple craft for children to take home.
