Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club supports Captain Joseph House

Sunbonnet Sue Quilt club Member Bonnie Cauffman, right, presents patriotic quilts made by members of the Sequim club to Betsy Reed Schultz, founder and executive director of Captain Joseph House Foundation in Port Angeles. The larger quilts will be used in Captain Joseph House, while the smaller comfort quilts will be presented to Gold Star family members. The Captain Joseph House Foundation is a one-of-a-kind 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports Gold Star Families of the U.S. military’s fallen war heroes since 9/11 from all branches of the military. The foundation looks to ensure a place for families of the fallen to gather for respite and to provide a continuum of care for their personal healing.
