The Port Angeles Symphony will have the orchestra’s most important fundraiser of the year at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 28, in the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St., Port Angeles.

Seventy percent of its fundraising budget comes from this event with the theme “The Rhapsody Continues. Welcoming a New Era.”

The evening starts with Camaraderie Cellars wine and hors d’oeuvres while guests bid on silent auction items and enjoy music by an ensemble of musicians. Items offered for silent auction bidding include tickets to a wide variety of events, gift certificates and a unique selection of gourmet wines, foodstuffs and merchandise.

After a gourmet dinner, bidding on live auction items begin and include a cruise and trips to Victoria, B.C., New Orleans, Bali, Hawaii, Mexico and Cortona, Italy.

The winner of the Golden Ticket Raffle is announced during the live auction – it’s not too late to purchase a ticket for a chance at this prize. The prize is your choice of any item offered at the live auction.
