Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., continues its run of “The Rented Christmas” through Dec. 22.
The play by Norman C. Ahern Jr. and Yvonne Ahern, reworks a short story by J. Lillian Vandervere, that follows John Dale (Sean Stone), a lonely business man who hasn’t truly celebrated Christmas since his parents’ death many years ago, so he hires Anne Weston (Rebecca Maberry) to create a Christmas for him.
The OTA Singers, under direction by Ron Adler and music director Morgan Bartholick, will perform 15-20 minutes before each show with a few festive songs with an audience singalong.
Shows take place at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays with no intermission. Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults and can be purchased at the door or at olympictheatrearts.org.
