The lights are up at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., for the opening of its Spotlight series this season.

First up is "Broadway and Bordeaux" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, presenting a range of musical theater favorites. Duo Jaie Arianna Livingstone, soprano, and Joel Yelland, baritone, serve up favorite tunes from shows ranging from “Annie Get Your Gun” to “West Side Story” to smaller shows like “Whoop Dee Doo” and “Kismet.”

They have decades of musical theater experience between them. Livingstone’s voice soars singing “Phantom” and Yelland will send chills down your spine as the devious alter-ego from “Jekyll and Hyde.”

Livingstone studied voice in upstate New York at Ithaca College and Yelland at Central Washington University. Both have been members of the Peninsula Singers and served as choir directors for the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This February, Livingstone makes her directorial debut at OTA with “Little Shop of Horrors,” and during the day is a holistic vocal coach with Harmony Healing Arts Center. Yelland is a regular performer with Reader’s Theatre Plus and medical director for the Lower Elwha Health Clinic.

The theater also presents Craicmore, a contemporary Celtic band, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, as a pre-Centennial kickoff concert for Sequim’s 100th year at the Sequim High School auditorium, 533 N.
