Veterans Corner: Marine Corps League collects Toys For Tots

Marine Corps League collects Toys For Tots

Sarge’s Place in Forks would like to thank the Mt. Olympus Masonic Lodge No. 298 for their monthly donations including paint brushes, tarps, flashlights, headlamps and small tools. Sarge’s Place is transitional housing for homeless veterans on the west end.

The veterans get counseling, medical help, job training and assistance to then move into an apartment once they have a job. Winter is coming and the veterans can always use warm, washable socks. They are asking for SmartWool socks, which you can purchase on Amazon and have shipped to Sarge’s Place, 250 Ash Ave, Forks, WA 98331.
