MOAA’s helping hand
Captain Rich Havel, U.S. Navy (ret.), President of the Peninsula Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), presented a check on Feb 27 for $1,000 to the local Dungeness Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP).
The CAP is always in need of support to enable activities and the purchase of uniforms and other needs. The CAP cadets partner with the Sequim VFW Post 4760 to serve breakfast the fourth Sunday of the month (biscuits and gravy). The VFW and CAP split the profits and tips from that breakfast.
CAP’s logistics officer can be reached at danielle.patterson@wawg.cap.gov if you have questions or wish to donate.
Please consider having a great breakfast at the VFW on March 24 and support the CAP.
