VHOCC’s Soul Speaker series to screen ‘Prison Terminal’

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) will present the documentary “Prison Terminal: The Last Days of Jack Hall” followed by a panel discussion with the Humane Prison Hospice Project in an online event set for noon-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.

The documentary chronicles the last sick months of a terminally ill resident, Jack Hall, of the Iowa State Penitentiary, one of the oldest maximum-security prisons in the U.S.

The mission of the Humane Prison Hospice Project is to transform the way incarcerated people die through education, advocacy and training to support incarcerated peers as caregivers and grief companions.
