The City of Sequim was notified on March 27 that Sequim has been nominated for Best Northwestern Small Town by USA TODAY.

This is a voting contest. Residents are encouraged to visit www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-northwestern-small-town/ twice daily between now and April 24 to cast their vote for Sequim. Visit the City of Sequim Facebook page, City of Sequim Government, and share the announcement post with friends. Sequim is in the No. 1 spot on the leaderboard.

Sequim is one of 20 cities in the Northwest that were identified by an expert panel to compete. The category covers Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Other Washington towns in the contest are neighbor Port Townsend, Friday Harbor, La Conner and Winthrop.
