WAG’s Dogtoberfest fundraiser set for Oct. 19; reservations due by Oct. 5

Welfare for Animals Guild will host its seventh-annual Dogtoberfest from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Guy Cole Event Center at Carrie Blake Community Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.

The fall gala returns with its dinner prepared by Tedesco’s Italian Fresh, specialty cocktails and homemade desserts and gourmet cookies made by a volunteer bake crew.

Tables will be lined with fabulous silent auction baskets hand crafted by our volunteers, filled with a bounty of goods and services contributed largely by merchants in our surrounding communities.

This evening is a chance to be with dog-loving community raising funds to continue WAG’s work of rescuing and rehabilitating dogs on their way to their forever homes.

This year, the “Raise the Paw” segment of the evening will support WAG’s emergency medical issues.

The organization will repeat its popular “Dog Trivia” game following the “Raise the Paw” segment.

Seating is limited and tickets are selling quickly. Individual tickets are $85 each. Reserve a bottle (or bottles) of wine with one’s reservation; choose from Pinot Grigio 2020 or Merlot 2020 for $20 each.

Those interested can also reserve a table for eight for $800; the reservation includes two bottles of wine and a special “party favor” for each member of one’s group.

All reservations must be received by Saturday, Oct. 5. Reservations can be made at wagsequimwa.com. WAG accepts checks, PayPal and credit card.
