Dr. Joshua Jones, Chief Physicians Officer at Olympic Medical Center, offers “What has the Pandemic taught us about Mental Health?,” a free WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, on KSQM 91.5 FM.
Jones will talk about the increase in emergency and urgent health care visits related to anxiety, depression and substance-use that spiked during the pandemic; most importantly, he will share what the stress of the pandemic has taught us about maintaining positive mental health.
Jones joined OMC’s physician division as Chief Physicians Officer in the fall of 2016. He is board-certified general and forensic psychiatrist and a well-established physician in Clallam County. He came to Olympic Medical Physicians after working for six years as medical director at Peninsula Behavioral Health.
