Kiss the Pig results

Thanks to pet owners and 19 local veterinarians, Clallam County 4-H collected $1,290.16 in the 2013 4-H Kiss the Pig contest. The 2013 winner is Dr. Liz Oien (Blue Mountain Animal Clinic) with $590.97 collected in her name. Second was Dr. Linda Allen (Pacific Northwest Veterinary Hospital). Oien is a former local 4-H member who went to veterinary school and has returned to the community. She showed dogs and sheep in her years in 4-H.

Still Life Barn drawings

The drawing in the 4-H Still Life barn this year brought in $588.50 to be used for the local 4-H program. The winners are: Rose Sands, Harris, Lola Taylor, Carol Peet, Steph Royal, Veronica Brandewic, Vicki Shamp, Paulette Hill, Austin Pegram and Lyn Wright.
