It was a busy day for parents, children and school advocates alike at the Back to School Fair, held Aug. 23 at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.

The free event featured books, games, secure IDs, face painting, haircuts, school supplies, car seat checks, sports physicals, entertainment, information about immunization and local preschools, a silent auction and more.

Most Sequim schools are back in session on Sept. 3.
