Olympic National Park recently announced the lineup for its 2014-2015 “Perspectives” series. Kicking off this year’s series at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, is park research coordinator Jerry Freilich with “A Bit About Bees.”
“Perspectives” programs are held the second Tuesday of each month from November-May and are co-sponsored by the Friends of Olympic National Park.
Programs are free and open to the public. They begin at 7 p.m. at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, 3002 Mount Angeles Road, Port Angeles.
Seating is limited. Attendees are asked to arrive early.
Upcoming programs include “Free at Last: Elwha River Through Three Years of Dam Removal” on Dec. 9, “Jump Starting Recovery” (the continuing story of revegetation and restoration of the former lake beds of the Elwha Valley) on Jan. 13.
