Soroptimist International of Sequim is accepting applications for its annual Vocational Technical Award.

The $2,000 award is given to a female of any age who is enrolled in a non-degree program leading to a certificate or license.

Trade examples include, but are not limited to, EMT, firefighter, real estate, massage therapist, welder, computer tech, cosmetology, nursing, medical assistant and building trades.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must reside in the Sequim School District or be a graduate from Sequim High School. They must be enrolled in the program by the application deadline date.

Award funds may be used at the recipient’s discretion.
