The Clallam County Republican Party will hold caucuses on Saturday, Feb. 20, beginning at 10 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. for registration, doors will close at 10 a.m. for the official start, ending around 1 p.m.
This is an opportunity to set the direction of the party by advocating for candidates, submitting platform amendments and resolutions and electing delegates and alternates to the county convention on March 26.
Any Clallam County registered voter who is willing to state, by signing a Registration Form and List of Participants at Precinct Caucus, that he or she considers him or herself to be a Republican, has not participated and will not participate in the 2016 caucus or convention system of any other party shall be eligible to participate in the Republican caucus.
Individuals must be registered to vote in the precinct of the caucus in which they participate.
Precincts were restructured in 2012 so voters may not be in the same precinct as they were at the last caucus. Verify one’s precinct at https://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/myvote/ or by calling Clallam County Elections at 417-2221. Bring a voter ID card or photo ID.

A pooled caucus for the Sequim area will be held at the Sequim High School cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim. Precincts included are Agnew 210, Bell Hill 207, Blue Mountain 209, Blyn 211, Carlsborg 214, Cline 217, Coyote 218, Diamond Point 221, Dungeness East 222, Dungeness West 223, Eagle 226, Elk 229, Happy Valley 237, Jamestown 240, Lost Mountain 245, Miller Peninsula 246, Macleay 247, Monterra 249, Olympic 254, Port Williams 258, Prairie North 259, Prairie South 260, Riverside 265, Robin Hill 266, Sunland North 270, Sunland South 271, Sequim 401, Sequim 402, Sequim 403, Sequim 404, Sequim 405 and Sequim 406.
A pooled caucus for the Port Angeles area will be held at the Port Angeles High School Cafeteria, 304 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles. Precincts included are: Belleview 205, Black Diamond 208, Bluffs 210, Clark 216, Deer Park 220, Dry Creek 224, Elwha 230, Fairview 232, Freshwater Bay 233, Joyce 241, Madison Creek 248, Mount Angeles 250, Mount Pleasant 251, O’Brien 253, Port Angeles 101, Port Angeles 102, Port Angeles 103, Port Angeles 104, Port Angeles 105, Port Angeles 106, Port Angeles 107, Port Angeles 108, Port Angeles 109, Port Angeles 110, Port Angeles 111, Port Angeles 112 and Port Angeles 113.
There also will be caucuses in Forks.
