The fourth-annual Back to School Fair is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St.

Presented by Parenting Matters Foundation, Sequim School District and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, it’s a free event that includes books, school supplies, car seat checks, haircuts, vision screening, connections to community resources and services, and more.

United Way of Clallam County sponsors a Back to School event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Jefferson Elementary School, 218 E. 12th St., Port Angeles. Parents/guardians are encouraged to come for school supplies, school information, SmileMobile sign-ups and immunizations.

There will be information about bus routes, free and reduced meal applications, food services and community service organizations.
