Peninsula College hosts two BLOCK Fest training dates in September. The training and a session of volunteering allows participants to borrow equipment, train volunteers and run a BLOCK Fest event.

Sessions include 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, both at P.C.’s student union building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. Ellen Fetchiet leads the courses.

BLOCK Fest features parent-child interactive stations for play and learning. An instructor explains what kind of learning is taking place during each activity at each station.
