Sequim boys tennis finished the season with a win in Sequim on Oct. 11.
The Wolves (8-6 in league, 9-6 overall) hosted Coupeville (5-4 in league, 5-6 overall) for the 6-1 win.
All of Sequim’s singles players won with Stephen Prorok winning No. 1 singles 6-2 in both sets over Nick Etzell, Justin Porter winning 6-2, 6-3 over Jacob Baumann, and Raymond Lam winning 6-1 in two sets over Mason Grave.
At No. 1 doubles, Blake Wiker and Thomas Hughes won 6-3 in two sets over John McClarin and Joseph Wedekind and Sequim’s Liam Payne and Kevin Meyer won 6-0 in two sets over Tiger Johnson and Jasehon Baumann in No. 4 doubles.
Individual scores weren’t available for the 6-1 loss at home on Oct. 10 to undefeated North Kitsap (14-0, 15-0).
This week, the Wolves’ top players travel to the Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center on Oct. 19-20 in Bremerton for the Olympic League Meet.
Head coach Mark Textor said he wouldn’t know specific match-ups until Monday night but was certain Justin Porter and Stephen Prorok would play doubles together for the tournament.
