First Teacher is sponsoring Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Sequim Middle School cafeteria, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.

Cost for the breakfast is $7 for adults and children over 10, $5 for children from 2-10 and free for children under 2 years old. Tickets are being sold at First Teacher, First Federal, Castell Insurance, Dungeness Kids Co. and Pacific Mist Books. They also may be purchased at the door.  

For families who cannot afford this cost, call Cynthia Martin at 681-2250 for a free ticket. People also can come and skip the breakfast and just join in the rest of the events.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance giving out free books to each child plus and posing for photos (no charge). The event also features games for the children to play, music by DJ O.B.1. and a silent auction with donations from several local businesses.

Proceeds from this event go to First Teacher, a nonprofit group providing parenting education to parents with children from birth to kindergarten. First Teacher provides monthly newsletters to any family in Clallam County with a child not yet in kindergarten. To learn more about First Teacher, go to the website at www.firstteacher.org.
