Sheriff Bill Benedict announces the graduation of Deputy Sheriff Ronald Cameron from

the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Equivalency Academy, at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission in Burien on June 26.

Cameron completed 80 hours of demanding coursework over a nine-week period while also

performing his duties as a patrol deputy in the West End of the county. Cameron worked as a tribal law enforcement officer at the Lower Elwha Tribal Police Department and the Neah Bay Department of Public Safety prior to starting his career with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office. During his tribal employment he attended and graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Criminal Investigations Academy in Glynco, Ga., and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Police Academy in Artesia, N.M.

Benedict swears in new corrections deputy

Sheriff Bill Benedict announces the hiring of the Clallam County Sheriff Office’s newest corrections deputy Elizabeth Lundberg. She served as a military police officer in the U.S. Army and is serving in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Lundberg was recognized as the 327th Military Police Battalion Best Warrior and Soldier of the Year after winning the 2013 Battalion level Soldier of the Year event.
