It’s not time to panic, but the Sequim Centennial Committee extended the deadline for its theme contest to Jan. 15 after receiving no entries by the Dec. 11 deadline.
Perhaps publicizing the dearth of entries would generate some interest, said city clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese.
The theme will represent Sequim’s 100th birthday in 2013. It will be developed into a logo to promote the event on lapel pins, posters, programs and other advertising.
The contest winner will receive tickets to centennial events, a centennial calendar and a centennial book.
People may submit multiple entries but each must be in a separate mailing envelope.
The city will retain the winning theme.
How to enter
Entries must include the name, address, phone number and e-mail address (if available) of participant. E-mail
