Bible and science programs

Faith Baptist Church and Child Evangelism Fellowship sponsor a series of Bible and science programs Aug. 14-15 at the church, 6123 Old Olympic Highway, Sequim.

Dr. Tom Hoyle, who earned a Ph.D. in Christian apologetics from California Graduate School of Theology, presents the program that includes creation vs. evolution and biblical research.

Topics are:

10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 – "Dinosaurs, Huge Creatures and Creation"

9:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 – "It Must Have Been Created"

11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 – "The Case of the Missing Link"

6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 – "UFOs, Aliens and the Bible"

Saturday’s program is focused on children and includes a free hot dog lunch.

Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The Rev. Amanda Aikman returns to Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, to discuss "Four Movements Into Peace and Joy." Howe Road is off North Barr Road at Agnew.

Olympic View Church of God hosts vacation Bible school from 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday, Aug. 9-13, for kindergarten through sixth grade. The church is at 503 N. Brown Road, Sequim.
