A Be in Health Conference will be held Friday-Sunday, May 21-23, at Lighthouse Christian Center, 304 Viewcrest Ave., Port Angeles.
Bill Conklin is the featured speaker.
Topics include "Theology of Healing," "Theology of Disease," "Pathways to Health and Wholeness," "Spiritual Roots of Disease," "Blocks to Healing," "8 Rs to Freedom," "Spiritual Discernment" and "Spirit World Realities."
Classes will be offered about autoimmune, cardiovascular and endocrine systems, and degenerative diseases. The conference also includes testimonies and a time of ministry.
Sessions run from 1:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, May 21; 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday May 22; and 1:30-7 p.m. Sunday, May 23.

Learn about mystical Buddhism
American-born Upasaka Bodhisattva Drimed Dorje will speak on mystical Buddhism at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 23. His talk will be part of the regular service at the Unity of Port Townsend meeting in the Masonic Hall, Jefferson and Van Buren streets, Port Townsend.
A dedicated dharma teacher at the Port Townsend Sangha, Drimed Dorje has studied under Indian and Tibetan masters for 38 years. Since 2003 he has traveled, lived and studied extensively with the H.E. Khenpo Choga Rinpoche, fully enlightened root master of the Dzogchen lineage.
Drimed Dorje is known for his style of simplifying each teaching to its basic essential meaning, free from elaboration.
Trinity free dinner continues
Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim, holds its second free community dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 27.
Reservations are required; call the church, 683-5367, between 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the dinner. Fifty people can be accommodated.
The baked-chicken dinner will include salad, vegetables, dessert and beverage. Guests will be welcome to stay after eating for a sing-along, games and help for children with homework.
Forty-three people attended the first dinner on April 29, and volunteers plan to continue the dinners on the last Thursday of each month.
Worship music
at Sequim Bible Church
"Raging Praise," a contemporary worship music event, comes to Sequim Bible Church, 847 N. Sequim Ave., on Friday, May 21.
The J7 contemporary praise band, E3 high school praise band and Sequim Bible Church worship band will begin playing at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The event is free, with child care provided and snacks, desserts and espresso available.

Susan Stombaugh leads a Shavuot service as congregation Olympic B’nai Shalom celebrates the Jewish holiday in the mountains on Sunday, May 23. Meet at Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center at 1 p.m.
