Sequim receives grant

The City of Sequim has received a $9,000 Growth Management Update Grant from Growth Management Services, a unit of the Washington State Department of Commerce, to support the completion of Sequim 120, the comprehensive plan update project.

“This grant provides very important funding to help us complete the public review draft of the Sequim 120 plan by the end of 2014,” said Community Development Director Chris Hugo.

The city has been contracting with the Rissee Group to assist city staff in the public outreach and development of the public review draft portions of the project. The Sequim 120 comprehensive plan update is expected to be adopted by the Sequim City Council in the spring of 2015.
