The Sequim City Council hosts a special meeting to discuss the COVID-19 coronavirus issue at 5 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Sequim Civic Center, at 152 W. Cedar St.

“It is not recommended that the public attend the meeting,” city representatives said. “Staff is working with City Council and other boards and commissions to hold remote meetings.

School district meeting
The Sequim School District’s regular meeting set for 6 p.m. tonight (Monday, March 16) has changed locations from Greywolf Elementary School to the district boardroom, 503 N. Sequim Ave.
Public comment will be accepted in written format only.
All student reports, the Greywolf School Improvement Plan and Strategic Plan report have been postponed.
“Based on Department of Health recommendations, we will be practicing social distancing with the audience chair set-up,” district representatives said.
“For the safety of all, we strongly recommend and encourage you to only attended if absolutely necessary.”
