City seeks Comprehensive Plan steering committee

The Sequim City Council wants five members of the public to serve on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee to oversee the 18-month process.

They’ll provide feedback and direction to planning staff, confirm completion of each step in the work program, make recommendations to the city council and planning commission on approving milestones, and approve readiness to proceed to the next phase of the process. The committee will meet six to 10 times during the project.

Applicants must live within Sequim School District boundaries but at least three members must reside within the Sequim city limits. Volunteer applications are available at Sequim City Hall, 152 W. Cedar Street, or at www.ci.sequim.wa.us. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, June 10, at the City Clerk’s office at city hall or via e-mail at kkuznek@ci.sequim.wa.us.
