The Clallam County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into the death of a 50-year-old woman found at a residence off Woodcock Road in Sequim.
Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy said the department learned of the event when a person living at the residence called 911 on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to report an unresponsive woman. The department is treating the death as suspicious.
“We don’t know we have a crime,” Bundy said.
A determination will be made pending the results of an autopsy, which will take about a week, and the pathology report, which the department should receive about two to three weeks after that, Bundy said.
