Sequim woman identified in suspicious death

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reports a Sequim woman whose death earlier this month was determined to be suspicious has been identified as 50-year-old Kimberly A. Meehan.

A preliminary autopsy indicated the cause of death is undetermined, but the final autopsy report and toxicology results have not yet been provided, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Nov. 14.

Deputies were dispatched at 2:53 a.m. Nov. 5 to the 100 block of Ridgeview Drive, where they began life-saving efforts. Medics pronounced Meehan deceased at the scene.

Detectives conducted a thorough investigation, the sheriff’s office said.

The case continues to be an active investigation pending the autopsy and toxicology results, the sheriff’s office said.
