Ryan Albin – Albin, 24, whose last known address was in Sequim, was charged Oct. 3 with rape of a child in the third degree. Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reports indicate Albin had relations with a 14-year-old female in Sequim.

Nathan Quick – Quick, 20, of Sequim, was charged Oct. 8 with delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana, to a minor and delivery of a Schedule I or II controlled substance to a minor. A Sequim Police officer was patrolling Carrie Blake Park at night and came across a vehicle parked on the back side of the park on North Rhodefer Road. The officer made contact and immediately smelled marijuana, according to his report. The driver was a minor and the passenger was Quick. The officer found a container with eight plastic bags inside, two of which had suspected marijuana and six of which had residues of the suspected drug. The minor told officials she received her marijuana as well as two Oxycodone pills from Quick. Both were arrested.

Jessica Torve – A Clallam County Superior Court judge issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Torve, 24, of Sequim, for failure to appear in court on charges of theft in the second degree and vehicle prowling in the second degree. On July 4, a Clallam County Sheriff’s deputy responded to an alleged vehicle prowl and theft at the Deer Park Cinemas in Port Angeles. Court records indicate Torve and an accomplice conspired to do the crime and allegedly stole a backpack with at least $300 in cash and several prescription medications inside.

Edmond Perez – Perez, 26, of Sequim, was sentenced Oct. 2 to $2,395 in fines and six months of confinement for the charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and two counts of delivery of marijuana. Perez pleaded guilty to the charges, which stem from a May arrest of Perez after making several purchases from him using a confidential informant. Inside Perez’s home, officers found about 50 marijuana plants growing in different stages, about two pounds of processed marijuana, digital scales and packaging material.

Heidi Hendrick – Hendrick, 42, of Sequim, entered into a drug court contract Oct. 9 with the Clallam County Superior Court for the charge of theft in the first degree. If she successfully completes the drug court program, the charges will be dropped. The charges stem from an Aug. 18 arrest where Hendrick allegedly stole about $2,000 worth of electronic merchandise from the Port Angeles Wal-Mart. The incident reportedly was captured on surveillance videotape.

Jeremy Garland – A Clallam County Superior Court judge issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Garland, 18, reportedly transient, for failure to appear in court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana. On Sept. 29, a Sequim Police officer performed a traffic stop on Garland for failure to come to a complete stop. The offer requested to search Garland’s vehicle and Garland reportedly agreed to the search. The officer allegedly found several small plastic baggies of white crystalline powder, which later tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the police report.
