Alexander Walberg – Walberg, 18, Sequim, pleaded guilty March 10 to two counts of second degree assault; the fourth degree assault charge was dropped. He was sentenced to eight months in jail with 30 days converted to community service and to 365 days in jail with 275 suspended for two years, $500 crime victim compensation, $535 in fines and court costs and 24 months of community supervision.

Jessica Torve – Charges of second degree theft and second degree vehicle prowl were dismissed with prejudice on March 19, meaning the charges can’t be brought up again.

Jonathan Sampson – Sampson, 32, of Sequim, was sentenced March 18 to 12 months in jail with credit for time served, 12 months community custody and $2,160 in fines and court costs. He had been charged Oct. 17 with one count of burglary in the first degree, one count of assault in the fourth degree, a charge related to domestic violence, one count of intimidating a witness, one count of residential burglary and two counts of harassment.

Stephen Duffy – Duffy, 24, of Port Angeles, pleaded guilty March 18 to third degree driving while license suspended or revoked. A second charge of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana will be dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 16 days served and 74 days suspended for four months and $850 in fines and court costs.

Shawn Thomas Mackey – Mackey, 36, of Sequim was charged March 16 with one count of second degree taking a motor vehicle without permission and one count of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle. According to court records, Mackey allegedly drove off in a 1978 Ford pickup truck on March 14 and then tried to elude a police officer.

Louis Urban III – Urban, 41, of Sequim was charged March 18 with one count of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana and one count of use of drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 23, Urban walked away from a car wreck on Autumn Road near Cassidy Creek Road and was struck by a car while walking in the middle of the 300 block of Atterberry Road. While being treated for head trauma and a broken leg, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Kristina Priest – Priest, 38, of Port Angeles, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed without prejudice on March 4, meaning the charge could be refiled at a later date.
