One lane on Highway 101
McDonnell Creek bridge on U.S. Highway 101, between Barr and Sherburne roads, will be open to only one-lane of alternating traffic from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Thursday, April 2. Minor repairs are being performed.
The bridge was placed on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s structurally deficient bridge list, along with 141 others, in June 2008.
Structurally deficient means a bridge requires repair or replacement of a certain component but it does not mean it is in danger of collapse or is unsafe for travel.
Peninsula jiggled

The Sequim Police Department also said it hadn’t heard anything.
According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, the quake had a magnitude of 3.6 and occurred about 26 miles west of Brinnon.

These tests are run on the first Monday of each month.
