Pet Lover’s Weekend scheduled
The Third Annual KSQM 91.5 FM Pet Lover’s Weekend broadcasts Friday-Sunday, Aug. 12-14, as a fundraiser for the nonprofit radio station.
Short pet stories sent to office@ksqmfm.com and other stories, humor, information and novelty music about animals, are featured. The station sells animal identification tags for $15 at one of more than 20 pet-related booths from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Sequim Costco parking lot, 955 W. Washington St.
The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, Welfare for Animals Guild and Peninsula Friends of Animals receive a pound of pet supplies for every $10 contributed in honor of animals.

Class of 1981 hosts reunion
The 30-year reunion of Sequim High School’s Class of 1981 is slated for 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at The Cedars at Dungeness golf course, 1965 Woodcock Road.

Grange holds ice cream social
Sequim Prairie Grange hosts an ice cream social 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at 290 Macleay Road. A $5 donation will be accepted to benefit the grange for the hall’s upkeep.
Charity football game planned
The Olympic Peninsula Eagles merge with the PFL Champion Kitsap County Bears to face Everett JC for a charity football game for the Dreampark Foundation to help raise money for a playground to be built at Shane Park. The game is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Civic Field in Port Angeles. Admission is $5 for adults, seniors and students; 12 and under get in for free. At halftime, children attending the YMCA/OP Eagles football camp play a flag football game.
Friends of library hosts book sale

Cloverdayle plays concert for scholarships
Olympic Cellars Winery, Soroptimist Jet Set and Peninsula College Foundation sponsor a concert by country duo Cloverdayle at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Olympic Cellars, 255410 U.S. Highway 101. Half of all ticket sales go to fund the Women of Opportunity Scholarships, awarded to women furthering their education who are sole bread-winners for the family.
Cloverdayle has opened for country acts such as Kenny Chesney and Lady Antebellum.
Wine will be served and The Garden Bistro will make wood-fired pizza.
Tickets are available at the door or in advance from Jet Set Soroptimist and Peninsula College Foundation board members.
