KSQM-FM is available at 95.1 FM and through the Internet.
The station can be heard through the Internet on the live feed at www.ksqmfm.com.
KSQM broadcasts music of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
Local programming includes news, weather, and community and school events.
Volunteers staff the station.
A program advisory committee welcomes input from listeners.
The station plans to continue to broadcast and provide on-the-air news updates during power outages, adverse weather and road conditions, and other unforeseen events.
The not-for-profit station depends on community support.
Sequim Community Broadcasting/KSQM’s goal is to establish a community noncommercial educational FM radio station that serves the people of Sequim and the Dungeness Valley.

YMCA opens art school
The new YMCA Community Art School celebrates its grand opening 2-5 p.m. Feb. 28. A two-classroom facility, the school is adjacent to the YMCA at 723 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Open house activities include art activities for children and entertainment by adult guitar students. Area artists also will be on hand.
Refreshments will be served. Door prizes include tickets to a chamber orchestra performance from the Port Angeles Symphony.
Current class offerings include fused glass, Ukrainian Pysanky egg decorating, mandolin and ukulele instruction and crafts for adults; photography for teens; and beginning guitar classes and room decorating for youth.
Art classes are offered at the school for all ages, and area artists are invited to teach a class. Regular monthly sessions of after-school and preschool classes are ongoing, as are memoir writing sessions for seniors and guitar lessons for adults.

Club spearheads food drive
Clallam County Democratic Club is leading a food drive benefiting the Sequim Food Bank.
Nonperishable items may be brought to all club functions and also may be dropped off at Democratic Headquarters at 150 S. Fifth Ave., Sequim, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
