Lions start up ‘Giving Tree’

The Sequim Valley Lions have established a “Giving Tree” at 154 W. Washington St. This is where children can choose a gift and learn the joy of giving, Lions representatives said. Community members are encouraged to take what they want and give what they can.

Donations of children’s gifts and personal care items are accepted; Lions representatives ask no food items or toys that look like weapons be donated. Gifts must be small enough to fit into a 10-inch plastic bag.

The “Tree” will be up through Monday, Dec. 18.
