Miller Peninsula trail plan comments due Nov. 13
A Determination of non-significance has been issued for the Miller Peninsula Interim Trail Plan. The plan, state officials say, is to designate appropriate trail uses and guide management of the undeveloped area upon which the state had hoped to create a destination state park before lack of funds stymied the process.

State officials are hosting a a public meeting regarding the plan at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at the Guy Cole Convention Center, 202 Blake Ave., Sequim. See a map of the draft plan at www.parks.wa.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/4928.
