The City of Sequim has lifted the burn ban for recreational and barbecue fires within the City. However, outdoor burning of debris is still prohibited. This follows the Clallam County burn ban lift. Certain burning activities require permits.

Effective Oct. 1, Urban Growth areas, including Port Angeles, Sequim, Carlsborg, Joyce, Forks, Clallam Bay and Sekiu, are restricted from outdoor burning, through Washington state law.

Outside of the Urban Growth areas, contact your local fire district for burning regulations and permit requirements.
