Clallam County officials gathered community input on the two design options at hand for Towne Road at an open house March 19.
As a result of the planned setback for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 1960s levee to reduce flood risk and reconnect about 112 acres of the lower Dungeness River’s historical floodplain, Towne Road either will end with a cul-de-sac or reconnect outside of the levee setback area.
