The Tacoma News Tribune reports that 30-year-old Patrick Bartholomew, formerly of Sequim, was killed early July 5 when his pickup truck crashed off a Key Peninsula road.
Bartholomew lived in the Federal Way area, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reported July 6. An autopsy determined the cause of death to be multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle crash.
A passerby spotted Bartholomew’s crashed truck about 2:20 a.m. on July 5, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The truck had left the roadway and rolled. Bartholomew was ejected and died at the scene.
On his Facebook page, Bartholomew wrote he grew up in Sequim and attended Auburn High School, the Tribune reported.
