CrimeNet offers anonymous online crime reporting

Clallam County Sheriff’s Office provides new service

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is offering anonymous tip reporting through the CrimeNet website available at www.clallam.net.

CrimeNet allows users to report suspicious activity online anonymously. An instructional video on the site explains how to use CrimeNet. While tips can be reported anonymously, there is also a tool which allows contact information to be provided so a deputy can contact tipsters for follow-up.

The CrimeNet reporting service is useful for reporting code enforcement violations, suspected drug activity, tips on wanted persons and animal abuse, the sheriff’s office said in a community message.
