Sequim High School’s “elves” are looking for your help.
Winter Wishes is an event that the high school leadership team puts on each year and is a way to remind the student body what the true spirit of the season is.
Each SHS student makes a wish for both themselves and for a friend.
Wishes range from reuniting family members to teddy bears and bouquets of flowers.
“This year we have over 1,400 wishes and we would like to grant as many as possible,” says event co-organizer Andrea Tjemsland.
The assembly is scheduled for Dec. 17 and event organizers are asking for any and all donations be made by Friday, Dec. 7.
To make a monetary donation, send to: Sequim High School, Attn: Winter Wishes Committee, 601 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, WA 98382.
Or, to make a specific donation, call Tjemsland at 461-1173 or e-mail the committee at shswinterwishes@yahoo.com.
