On Sept. 28 at the Sequim Rotary Club meeting, Jig and Lure Fish Company presented a donation check to Serenity House for $2,821.53. The check represents donations made by customers at the restaurant during August. As part of its Living Wage policy, Jig and Lure Fish Company restaurant employees do not accept tips. As an alternative, employees choose to support a local charity by accepting donations on the charity’s behalf throughout the month. Nonprofit partners must operate locally in Clallam County and benefit Clallam County residents. Since n April, Jig and Lure Fish Company has raised more than $15,000 for local charities.
